Fundraising Events Calendar
March 2005: Black tie event. A formal dinner-dance.
April 2, 2005: A concert featuring El Mariachi Sol de Mexico.
April 9 & 10, 2005: Eucharistic Congress event.
April 30, 2005: “Children’s Day” event, - a popular Mexican Celebration known as “ Día de Los Niños. ”
May 5, 2005: Our Cinco de Mayo event will be presented in collaboration with La “M” 103.7 FM.
May 15, 2005: Event to celebrate Pentecost. On this date, the winner of one new car will be announced.
Summer 2005: We are currently planning a concert featuring Joan Sebastián (Jaripeo). We are also planning a concert with Pepe Aguilar.
September 18, 2005: Celebration of the 16th of September “ Fiestas Patrias .” This event will be patterned alter the September 12th Entertainment Celebration 2004, which drew over 10,000 people. The winner of one new car will be announced on this date.
October/November 2005: An event is being planned. Date and details will follow.
December 1 – 2, 2005: Coloquio – live play on the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
December 3 – 11, 2005: Pilgrimages. Pilgrimages begin at 6:30 P.M. in front of Robert J. Frank Intermediate School and end at 7:00 P.M. at the Parish. Mass will begin at 7:00 P.M., the Novena will follow. During the evening, tamales and champurrado will be sold.
December 11 and 12, 2005: Two-day celebration in honor of the Virgin Mary. Festivities, which include music and food, will begin after the 7:00 P.M. Mass and continue into the next day. Las mañanitas will begin at 12 midnight. Our Mass Schedule will mirror our regular Sunday Mass Schedule except for the addition of one more Mass – 8:30 P.M. Towards the end of the festivities (approximately after 10:00 P.M. 12/12/2005), the winner of One New Furnished House will be announced. Ticket sales for the House Drawing will come to a close at 9:45 P.M. No tickets will be sold after that time.
December 2005: Crowning of the Queen of the Feast to Our Lady of Guadalupe 2005.
December 2005: Christmas Concert presented by the Choirs of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish.
December 2005: Posada
